It is hard to believe that Thomas is 4 weeks old today. He is growing so fast I can't believe it. We are in #1 diapers and starting to fill out most of our 0-3 month clothes.
The last few nights have been frustrating for me and Roane. Roane has been feeding him around 11:30, and in theory, that should by me an additional 3 hrs of sleep, but for whatever reason, Thomas refuses to go to sleep for Roane. So Roane is left to either stay up way too late and be absolutely exhausted the next day, or put him in his bed and let him start crying 5-10 min after he (Roane goes to sleep). Then I have to get up and figure out how to get him to sleep - defeating the purpose of Roane feeding him in the first place! So, today, I decided to rework our entire routine. I have felt like I have been doing Babywise gymnastics to stay on the schedule I set two weeks ago, so I figure that I don't have a ton to lose to try something a little different. So far, today has been soooo nice! I feel like it has added at least an hour or two of functional time to my day so far, but I will let you know how the night goes. :-)
Today has been fairly productive compared to most of my days. I started by getting dressed after I fed Thomas at 6:00, so I was dressed and ready to take Nathan to school before 8:00 am! I got caught up on thank you notes, did a load of clothes, emptied the diaper genie, took a two hour nap, made a couple of phone calls I have been putting off, hung Thomas' letters over his bed, gave him a bath, put supper together, and I am updating the blog!!! Yay!
